Hello friends, you must have seen some gorgeous pencil coloring all over craft-land. Yana Smakula has shared some amazing examples and so did Debby Hughes. And I felt inspired to try it out myself. Also I won a set of coloring pencils in an Instagram giveaway by @papersparklesz, so I just had to give it a try. This here is my first attempt of pencil coloring and I did it on a dark colored card. To be honest, I don’t think I liked it as much, but I am sure I can practice and improve.
I started this card by heat embossing the image from SSS Take Heart stamp set. I used the flowers in a cup image + a sentiment with SSS fine gold embossing powder. Then I used my polychromos pencils to color in the flowers and the cup. I also added a few shadows under the cup.
I also die cut a word ‘heart’ using the heart wafer die from SSS using some gold foiled cardstock. I adhered this along with a few sequins and called this card done.
