Hello friends, I still have several more cards to share using Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers stamp set. Today’s card is using the individual flowers from the same stamp set. Again, these flowers by themselves are so gorgeous, that all I did was to stamp them on some patterned paper.
The patterned paper is from ModaScrap Fly with me paper pack which came in SSS June 2018 card kit. I picked coordinating colors from this paper – Versacolor Raspberry ink for flowers and Altenew Olive ink for leaves so that the design looked cohesive. Along with the flowers, I used foliage images from SSS Friends of life stamp set for some added interest.
Keeping with the same color theme I stamped “sending lot of” and “your way” using Olive ink. For the middle word, I chose the outline of the word ‘HAPPY’ and stamped it in Raspberry ink. I also added light shading inside these letters using a matching coloring pencil – Magenta polychromos pencil. Finally, I added just a few sequins in matching colors and mounted this panel on a green pre-made cards to finish this project.
