Hi folks, I do have one more inspiration to share with you using the same Bohemian Lace background stamp from Simon Says Stamp latest release Sending Sunshine. I did share one more card using the same image. You can check it out here.

When I first saw this image, I was reminded of the beautiful Rangolis that we used to make in India. We used to lay down a pattern of dots and then connect them in interesting ways to make beautiful designs. I tried to create something like that here.
To start with, I hear embossed the background image twice – once on the card front using Opaque White embossing powder by Zing and then again using Simon Says Stamp Fine Gold embossing powder on pale pink cardstock from my stash. (I believe this is the Cotton Candy cardstock by Simon).
Next I die cut the pink heat embossed piece using one of the nesting circle dies from Hero Arts (this die set is a staple in my book!)
I also heat embossed my sentiment “best mom ever” on a piece of black cardstock using same white embossing powder as before and die cut it out using a smaller die from the same set.

Then I layered all the circles using foam tape. To finish off, I added several sequins in matching colors – white, yellow, pink and black.
