Spellbinders Card kit of the Month – October 2019

It’s first of the month and that means, new Clubs from Spellbinders!! Today I have two cards to share mainly using the dies from the kit. I combined it with some colored cardstock and inks from my stash. Cards are pretty straightforward and self explanatory.

I loved the dainty little poinsettia dies, so I cut several of these using some pink, blue and green cardstock pieces. I used these from older card kits that were already in my stash, but in this month’s kit, you will find all these colored cardstocks. After assembling all flowers with multi medium matte, I also added a gem center (all supplies listed below). For my sentiment I used the same matching blue to cut out the word ‘Merry’. For arranging all my pretty flowers, I prepared a stamped design of the leaves using Simon Says Stamp Green Apple ink. Final step was to add all the pieces, stamp my sentiment and sprinkle the circle confetti (flower center) pieces all around.

After my first card, I had one leftover flower, I used that with some other supplies to whip up this second card. To add a little bit of interest to the front of my card, I used the Falala embossing folder. I layered two labels that I cut out using Labels One dies set – one from silver glitter cardstock from my stash and another from patterned paper in the kit. I also added one piece of ephemera – Falala… – on top.
