Hi friends, another happy day with another happy card – and this one really says “Choose Happy” :-)
The focal point on this card – the big mandala circle – came as an embellishment in Spellbinders Nov 2017 card kit. I let that design drive rest of the elements on this card.
Simon Says Stamp “Look for the Miracles” stamp set has images that kinda looked like they belonged together with the mandala on this circle, so I paired these two together.
I created a mask using normal printer paper for the size of the mandala, placed it on the card base in my MISTI and secured it using the magnets. Next I stamped all around it using Mermaid Lagoon distress ink with the images from the SSS stamp set.
Once I laid down all the larger images, I adhered the mandala image using glue dots which came with Spellbinders card kit. The mandala circle is like clear acetate stamped with images, so I went with clear adhesive of the glue dots instead of anything else.
Next I added the smaller images and heart from SSS stamp set to the areas which felt a little empty.
I also added one of the stickers that came in the card kit and had the words “.choose happy” with these glue dots. To finish the card, I added one more word sticker – “love”, but this time I used foam tape instead of glue dots, to give it the tiniest bit of dimension.
