Spellbinders | Small Die of the Month Club | April 2019

Hi friends, happy Friday! I have a new card to share using the gorgeous layered flowers dies from Spellbinders Small Die of the Month club for April 2019.

Inspiration for this card came from my own yard

Isn’t she a beauty? I love the trailing vines and the enchanting display of purple flowers she puts up every year. So I decided to create something that takes a cue from her. :-)

The Small Die of the Month for April 2019 comes with 23 dies and at first glance they can be a little intimidating. But fear not, these are very forgiving and there is no need to exactly line up these layers at all. For making it easy to figure out which pieces go together, I put them up onto a printer paper and arranged them in groups. Feel free to save or print it so you can refer to it as you go.

For my background, I created a white panel which I embossed using the Wonky Diamonds embossing folder from Spellbinders. This one is quite versatile and is currently on sale. Grab it using the links below.

For the sentiment, I foiled “thanks a bunch” with Champagne hot foil using  a plate from the Everyday Sentiments II set. This one is currently out of stock at Spellbinders, but I found it on Amazon, in case you are looking for it. Link below.

Rest was simply assembling the flowers and putting the card together. Beware this part is addictive! :-) I did make several yellow flowers too, but Ms A grabbed them before I could use them. You will see her card tomorrow.
