Spellbinders | Stamp of the month September 2019

Hi crafters, today is the day where I get to share this month’s beautiful Stamp of the Month set from Spellbinders. It is full of fall themed images and gratefulness sentiments. I made a thank you card with this set and I am so very pleased with it.

To start with, I stamped several images on white cardstock using Gina K black amalgam ink and colored them using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Here are the exact colors I used:

I also stamped a sentiment using the same black amalgam ink and then die cut all these images using matching dies (sold separately).

For my background, I combined three panels – two from patterned papers from this month’s card kit and one from Neenah Desert Storm cardstock. This set of patterned papers is also available separately from the kit as a card kit extra. I will link to it below. After adhering these three together, I stamped same images but without coloring this time. I used Antique Linen distress ink for this.

Once the panel was ready, I gave it a black matting by cutting out a black rectangle slightly bigger than the combined panel. Before adding it behind the combined panel, I cut out a rectangle from the middle of the rectangle which I can use on another project. Finally I assembled the die cut images and the card as you see here and added some gems for some bling to finish it off.
