Today I have a card to share which I made using the Spellbinders kit. This is one of the two kits I subscribed to and I am so glad I did! This kit comes with everything needed to create at least 10 cards. Pre-cut and scored cards made of textured cardstock, patterned papers, dies and embellishments. Instead of stamps they usually have stickers for sentiments.
I often combine these supplies with my other card kit from Simon Says Stamp. But today I used only the supplies from the card kit to create this card:
I used supplies from the September kit of Spellbinders to do some die cutting:
Leaves using the dies from card kit of the month from green cardstock that came in the kit
A lace border using the gold mirrored cardstock. This die came from the large die of the month kit.
A banner using black cardstock also included in the kit
Next, I added a panel of patterned paper and mounted it on one of the card bases. Finally I assembled my die cuts, added a sentiment sticker and a few golden sequins to complete the card.
Hope you like this card idea and give it a try. You can always change the shapes, colors and papers to create a completely different occasion card, including a holiday card. Do give it a try and let me know how it goes. Can’t wait to hear from you!
