Hello friends, today I have one more card for you where I combined a beautiful sentiment from SSS Thankful Heart card kit with another SSS stamp set – SSS Nutty Over You. This Nutty Over You stamp set came in the October 2016 card kit by SSS and has lots of beautiful small images which can be combined into a wreath. And that’s exactly what I did.
I used the largest heart from MFT stitched heart stax dies on a stitched rectangle panel to mark an outline heart and used that as a guide to do all my stamping with small images from Nutty Over You stamp set. (I will link to all the colors I used below.)
Next I used one of the watercolor hearts I had saved from my other projects and ink blended with Mermaid Lagoon distress ink over it + added water splatters and lifted color. Next I used Hero Arts burgundy ink to stamp my sentiment over the heart. I used MISTI :-)
Next I erased pencil lines, added foam adhesive a the back of this sentiment heart and adhered it on my wreath. A few flat backed gems (my daughter gave me!) and a heart covered in stickles finished my panel. Finally I adhered the panel at an angle on a black card base and trimmed off excess.
