Stamping flower clusters

Hi friends, I have a beautiful spring-y card for you today and I also made a video to go with it :-)

For this card, I used a new stamp set by Simon Says Stamp – ‘Sending Flowers’. This is part of their gorgeous Mothers, Fathers and Florals release. This stamp set is intended for the outside of envelopes and have some great floral images to line the edges, a frame + lines for the address and words to stamp in place of ‘To’. For today’s card though, I only used some of the standalone images. I also cut off one of the stamps to use as the center of my flowers.

For the inks, I used a set of ink cubes that came in April 2017 card kit by Simon Says Stamp (SSS). The Lemon zest ink that came in this pack is my most favorite yellow till date :-)

The card itself came together really simply. I stamped three flower clusters on a panel to create a visual triangle. Heat embossed and added the sentiment and embellished the panel with stickles, sequins and pearls. Finally I mounted it on a top folding card base.

I made a video for this card and have included several tips along the way. Hope you enjoy the video and feel inspired to try something like this.
