Stamping Smiles Design Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #18

Hello friends, it is the 16th which means a brand new tic-tac-toe challenge on Stamping Smiles Designs blog.

Challenge 18 Updated

I picked the right most vertical row and made a card for a teacher that has texture and ink blending.

teacher card 1

I started by adding some light ink blending using mermaid lagoon and cracked pistachio distress inks on my card front. I also used my Darice brick wall embossing folder to add texture on it.

Next I prepared a tag as my focal point. I used MFT stamps dienamics blueprint to die cut it out of a patterned paper from Lawn Fawn. On this tag, I stamped two sentiments – “Teacher” and “from my core”. I also die cut the word “thanks”.

Finally I added some ribbon + twine at the top of my tag, assembled everything and added iridescent sequins and a puffy apple sticker to finish the card. And because I just could not leave this card alone, I added a bit of stickles on my Thanks word :-)

I love cards like these where I use products from several different companies but they just work together like charm.

Hope this gives you ideas on how you can mix and match your crafting supplies.
