Hello Friends! So glad to have you here :-) Today we are starting a series of thank you cards. To be honest, I made all these during thanksgiving time (so most of them have fall themed colors), but these will be great thank-you cards for any time of the year. So I decided to go ahead and share them here anyways.
So here’s the first card. I wanted to make this for a guy – a colleague at work. So one of my rare cards which are without bling ;-)
I started by using a Tim Holtz motif resist paper that came in one of 2016 Simon Says Stamp card kits. I die cut it twice – once using stitched rectangle die and another time using SSS Birch Tree Window die.
I also die cut the word “thanks” twice – once using yellow textured, slightly glittery paper and another time using brown paper. This die is from Hero Arts. Using the same two papers I hand cut a couple banner and lined them together.
Finally I adhered everything together and foam mounted the panel on top of a cream colored card base.
