Hello friends, ready for the next Thank-You card? This one is a little more elaborate and involved. But so beautiful that the effort is worth it :-)
For this card, first of all I did the die cutting part – I die cut the flower from a patterned paper which had gold foiled circles on it. I taped my die in such a way that the center of the flower was on the gold circle. I also die cut the matching leaf from another green-ish patterned paper.
Next I die cut a stitched rectangle from another patterned paper and to give it some additional flair, I die cut one side of it using scalloped border die. On top of this die cut banner, I heat embossed the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp “Thankful heart” stamp set. I used Recollections Copper embossing powder for this one.
Next I laid everything on a black card base and stamped a flower and leaf image. I used matching Delicata Celestial Copper and Tsukineko Galaxy Gold ink. They add just the right amount of shimmer in the background.
Finally I assembled everything using foam tape and added just a few sequins to complete this project.
