Thank You card using minimal stamping

Hello friends! Hope you all are doing great!!

I subscribe to two monthly kits – one from Simon Says Stamp and another from Spellbinders. I am also a huge fan of Spellbinders dies in general. They have some really beautiful designs. I also often combine stamps from SSS with dies from Spellbinders. Today I have “Thank You” card for you which does just that. I combined the stamp + papers from SSS card kit with Silhouette etched die set from Spellbinders for this one.

The October card kit from SSS came with beautiful patterned paper from the My Mind’s Eye Blush collection. It also included the SSS Brush Strokes Clear Messages stamp set, a gorgeous Burnished Rose Mirrored cardstock, an Ivory cardstock and beautiful Navy blue embossing powder. I used all these supplies along with the Silhouette dies set from Spellbinders for today’s card.

I started by fussy cutting a flower, few leaves and such from one of the patterned papers. Next I die cut the silhouette out of burnished-rose card stock and also cut out a panel from another patterned paper to cover my entire card front. My card is made of SSS Ivory card stock.

For my sentiment, I heat embossed the words “thank you” using the Navy blue embossing powder. I also die cut a banner shape for this sentiment.

Finally I assembled my card and added a few flat backed pearls to complete this card.
