Two more floral cards using Snowdrops stamp set by Priyadarshini

Hi everyone, this is Priyadarshini here and I am really excited to share my second card project for this month as Guest designer for Varada Sharma. Today, I have two card from the new release – Fantastic florals. It has a great selection of floral images and work great to make cards.

I am using Snowdrops stamp set for both my cards today. Snowdrops stamp set has a gorgeous floral design and I have two simple cards using this this floral image along with sentiments.

For the current month, this stamp set is included in the Silver Membership – which means it is 100% FREE on subscribing. But you must subscribe on/before March 7th, because on March 8th, new release will be here and the stamp sets included in both Silver & Gold memberships will change.

First card:

  1. I printed out the image and coloured using Polychromos pencils.

  2. This card is pink shaded so I kept the florals pink as well.

  3. I trimmed down the image and kept it aside and started getting the base of the card ready.

  4. For the base, I used pink cardstock and layered with black cardstock.

  5. I wanted the image to one side of the card and added a dot pattern paper.

  6. I added the trimmed down image on top of the pattern paper and finished by adding a sentiment.

  7. To embellish, I added some liquid pearls and dashes on black cardstock using silver gel pen.

Second card:

  1. I printed the image and coloured with mild green and mild yellow colour pencil.

  2. I trimmed down the image and wanted a colourful background.

  3. Using a pencil and scale, I drew some diagonal lines and then using a black marker highlighted those lines.

  4. I used blue, violet and mild orange for the background and coloured them alternatively.

  5. Using the same black marker, I added a border to the image.

  6. Turning this into a card. I used yellow note card and layered with a stripped yellow pattern paper.

  7. I added the image and a sentiment. To finish the card, liquid pearls and gemstones to four corners of the card.

Supplies:

  1. White cardstock – to print the image

  3. Pink cardstock

  4. Black cardstock

  5. Pink dot pattern paper

  6. Yellow stripped pattern paper
