Unusual color combo card using Rose Bouquet digital stamp set

A little while ago, I shared a really unusual-for-me color combo on Instagram (I will link it for you below). I colored two Rose Bouquet images with these. One of them I converted into the card below.

Key Ingredients:

  1. Rose Bouquet stamp set

  2. Spellbinders Glimmer kit for February 2021

  3. Derwent inktense pencils

Steps:

  1. Create a card base using some textured cardstock. I used the white cardstock from Spellbinders.

  2. Line up the hot foil plates on a card front and set them up with washi tape. Set these up on the glimmer machine so that the plates get nice and hot. Make sure to sandwich the black foil in between :)

  3. While the plates get hot and the light on glimmer machine turns on, print and color the rose image.

  4. Once the design is foiled, fussy cut and foam mount the rose bouquet.

  5. Finish off with some matching gems.

What do you think? Is this color scheme good? Let me know which one you like better – the one on the card or the one on the side?

And just in case you are curious, here are the pencils I used:
