Hi guys, I am hoping you all are staying safe. Not panicking. Acting with hope, strength and grace. Yes, there is a lot of chaos and uncertainty right now in the world, but we crafters have a way to find and spread sunshine wherever we go. We have a way of making people feel that they belong, that they are not alone and that they are loved. Let’s use that superpower because this is the time when the world needs it most.
For today’s card, I used a panel that was the same size as an A7 card front (5×7). I chose the Look For the Rainbows stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, stamped the pretty florals with a little bit of masking and colored with alcohol markers. I used Gina K designs Amalgam black ink (since it is alcohol marker friendly ink) + MISTI for all my stamping and then let the piece dry completely. Once everything was fully dry, I colored in with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.
For my sentiment, I used the gorgeous outline dies – You Are Loved – with Cotton Candy Cardstock and gold mirrored cardstock. The gold mirrored one came from one of Spellbinders card kits.
Finally I used the Waffle Flower A7 dies to create layers like you see here and assembled the card.
