While on Pinterest, I stumbled across this a couple days ago and immediately pinned it. Some more tracing down and I found that Lindsay from Run Lucas Run is the original creator of it. (Thank you, Lindsay! Much appreciated!!) For this post, I used her image but added bling to it using PicMonkey.
Here are my answers for 2015:
A bad habit I’m going to break: Worrying too much.
A new skill I’ll learn: Two actually. Driving and making video tutorials for my blog. I’m already working on both of them. Before April, I will get my driver’s license (I only have a permit currently). I’m already learning on Udemy about videos and youtube.
A person I hope to be more like: My younger self. Carefree, happy and content with myself. I feel like I’ve gotten into a habit of trying to be someone else and it’s so exhausting. In 2015, I’m going to be just me and I’m going to be enough.
A good deed I’m going to do: (Re) start sponsoring a child’s education. I used to do it when we lived in TN. When we moved to WA, somehow life got busy, finances stretched and this got discontinued for last few months. Will pick it up again in 2015.
A place I’d like to visit: Europe.
A book I’d like to read: Again, two instead of one for me. Search Inside Yourself: The Unexpected Path to Achieving Success, Happiness (and World Peace)
A letter I’m going to write: A series of letters to my little princesses.
A new food I’m going to try (and adopt): Quinoa. I have been hearing lot of good things about this protein and fiber rich grain. I’ve also tried it a couple times in restaurants. In 2015, I want to cook with it and adapt it into our household. (Of course, I will let you know how it goes.)
I’m going to do better at: Sticking to my exercise routine.
This felt like a good checklist for everyone in our family to fill in and make our goals for the year 2015. So we are planning to make it an activity for tonight. :-)
